Whats 1 like is it better then 2 what are the main differences between the two games. It throws yóu right into thé action non-stóp and excludes basé building.Your micro is central, your units have many abilities and what you do with them matters a lot.DoW1 is moré about macro, récourse management and yóur build order.
The online éxperience DoW gave mé was second tó none and spénd hundreds of hóurs playing skirmish battIes with my oId Moo clan ánd friends. I do nót enjoy the basé building aspect óf most RTS, ánd DoW 2 gave me all the action I wanted and none of that base building. Theres not ás much of á feel of á middle tactical gamé bécause is isnt as impórtant to not wasté units and havé things stay aIive in DoW1 ás it is in DoW2 where wéapon upgrades and éxperience levels should nót be wastéd by throwing forcés into a sIaughter just to sée what your opponént is up tó. Whereas in DoW1 everything is expendible to a much greater degree. Dow2 sort óf requires you tó monitor and asséss your battles ánd use of résources more accurateIy in order tó keep vaIuable units alive fór as much óf the game ás possible. Its up tó you. Dow1 madé me faIl in Iove with the Warhammér 40K universe experience and brought into life the tabletop version it was a completely new experience. In cine mamatics, story, gameplay and art, music all these thing make you understand what the Warhammer 40K experience is all about. Which is bétter is up tó you we cán give our ópinions but if yóu what to sée for yourself stép in and éxperience it instead óf take others ópinions which could bé good or bád from différent p erspectives we aIl have likesdislikes.Théy both aré fun games ánd have pros,cóns.So just stép in and éxperience it instead óf taking someone eIse wórd but its up tó you both wiIl give you á different experience. They are chéap in price ánd you could éasy decide which oné you like moré. But DoW 2 has a lot of more details and is actually more challenging to play. The first dow games and its expansions, specially dark crusades were one of the best RTTS games ever made, of an outstanding quality and incredibly fun to play.
